Tulip Town, Mt. Vernon, WA

Springtime in the Pacific Northwest mean tulips, and there's no better place to view tulips than in the Skagit Valley near Mt. Vernon. This year I made a visit to Tulip Town. It was a bit dreary and overcast  on the day of my tour, but the tulips - which were just starting to open up - brightened the landscape immensely. Click on the images to see the tulips better!

The Skagit Valley Tulip Festival runs through the month of April and can be very crowded on weekends, so try to visit on a weekday if possible. Click HERE and HERE to view last year's tulips.

Just beautiful. It's lovely to see all that colour on an otherwise dreary day.

Magnificent items from you, man. I've bear in mind your stuff prior to and you're simply extremely excellent.

I really like what you have obtained here, really like
what you're stating and the best way through which you assert it. You are making it enjoyable and you still take care of to stay it sensible. I cant wait to read far more from you. That is actually a wonderful site.

Beautiful pictures of the tulip fest. It looks like you had a dryer day than I. We didn't make it over to Tulip Town, maybe next year.
