David Glass House

On a warm sunny morning last week I walked over to the David Glass House, which sits proudly right next door to Forest Home Farms. The house was previously situated about 50 yards from its current location and was designed by east coast architects and completed in 1877. It belonged to early valley settlers David Glass and his family. The restoration of this two-story Victorian is nearing completion, and soon it will house a museum depicting life in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The home looked particularly stunning against the cobalt blue skies that day...
