Historic Downtown Anacortes

Christmas Day brought the sunshine along with cold temperatures to the Pacific Northwest, so while most families were celebrating Christmas in their warm homes, I decided to take a stroll through the quiet, quaint streets of historic downtown Anacortes and enjoy the colorful holiday sights and scenes...

What a fabulous, vital-looking downtown area. You're really shown Anacortes in its best light. I really like the crystal snowflake ornaments and the reflecting ball ornaments on the tree. =) Interesting to see so many murals, too. I think you chose the perfect time to take your stroll!

What is this? The whole town had escaped from a cartoon! The bright houses and the characters made it another world of it´s own.
