Only in Cuernavaca?

There's a Domino's Pizza joint down the street from our house, so we pass it everyday on our way to and from school. It's been under construction since we've been here, but the business is still operating; you just have to find your way around the construction mess. We haven't been able to figure out what exactly they are doing there, but we think that they are adding on an eating area. When the workers are working, the door to the restaurant is wide open allowing all the dust and debris to float right on in and settle on the pizzas that they're making. One day I nearly fell as I slipped on some loose tiles that were left over on the sidewalk by the workers. OSHA would have plenty to write up on this place! Here's the entrance along with one of the workers waving at me...

Here's the construction area...it's a lot cleaner than usual because the workers weren't working  at the time I took the photo...

Here are all the delivery bikes that are parked in front of the store....

We noticed from riding the local buses a lot, that the drivers are often talking to a buddy while steering the bus through the streets...only their friend sits on the dashboard for the entire ride, like this guy did!

What do you do after a hard day's work? Go down to the zocalo and sit on a bench and watch the world go by...

You'll often see a taxi driving around with five or even six passengers crammed inside. This taxi had four adult passenger and just wasn't quite able to make it up the hill by our house, so what to do? Ask the passengers to get out and push!
