Anacortes - August Sunsets

One of our favorite evening past times in Anacortes is watching the sun set over the San Juans. Weather permitting, we ride our bikes down to Washington Park, seek out our favorite bench overlooking the water, pop open a bottle of wine or beer, and savor the beautiful changing skyscape...No two sunsets in Anacortes are ever the same. Here are a few wondrous scenes which I'd like to dedicate to our beloved Willie, who is right now soaring somewhere above...

Monterey - June

Once summer arrived, we enjoyed a fun-filled long weekend in the Monterey area. Our group of friends and all the kids have a long-standing tradition of going on a camping trip every year as soon as school lets out. This year, however, we all agreed that the camping gear would stay home and instead we would book ourselves into a hotel near Monterey and spend a few days enjoying the beaches, Carmel, Monterey, and ourselves.
