A Touch of Autumn in Danville

Here are a few shots I took last weekend on my walk along the Iron Horse Trail in Danville...

If you've never been to downtown Danville, now is the time to pay it a visit. The town really decks itself out for the holiday season.

Oak leaves and acorns and wonderful shadows. Danville doesn't need artificial decorations with these natural ones around. Some of the leaves look almost blue.

Hi Linnea, Just been looking through your recent posts. How pretty it all looks in and around Danville as autumn takes hold. You have many lovely shots. I love the jewel-like maple leaves wherever they fall - on the ground, on the concrete steps, in the pool - and the acorns all fallen with the oak leaves - and the walkways lined with russet-leaved trees. Hope December is being equally attractive for you!
