Z and I took the commuter train from Newburyport into Boston and then switched over to the subway for a quick ride to Harvard. We just wanted to walk around Harvard Yard and soak in the mystique of Harvard University. Harvard Yard is a grassy area that constitutes the oldest part of the campus. It's where the freshman dormitories are as well as some libraries and the famous statue of John Harvard, the university's first benefactor. Come along for a quick tour...

Ahh, I feel a lot smarter now. Kidding aside always wanted to see that campus too.
Sure enjoyed your travels through Boston, Rockport, and Gloucester. It's been years since I've been there. Rockport and Gloucester are my favorites. Your photos are spot-on perfect, as always! =)
