Lafayette Reservoir

Today late in the afternoon F and I took our first hike of the new year. Well, it was more of a stroll - around picturesque Lafayette Reservoir. The trail was packed with people, kiddies, and dogs. The lighting wasn't the greatest, but the colors of the sky, trees, and water were almost pastel like and rather muted. Come take a look for yourself...

Is the second pic a variation on a shoe tree? It's pretty interesting!

The colors in pic 1 really do look muted like a painting, especially those gorgeous hills. The whole series is striking.

beautiful ensemble! I also like your new banner photo, it is very picturesque with the foreground, middle ground and background playing off of each other well.

Such a beautiful walk around the lake. Somehow I keep thinking that tower made it so memorable and different while it wasn´t the best thing to focus.

Congratulations for the paperwork going ahead all the time!
